Rules and Regulations
Rule #1
The Trustees shall have Control of the Aerie Home, under the direction of the Aerie, and shall employ, discharge and manage all employees of the Buffet and/or Social Rooms. Trustees will control operating hours as the economy demands. All public election days and/or legal holidays, opening time shall be the discretion of the Trustees with at least one week notice on the club's bulletin board. The club shall be closed on Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. On December 24th of each year the Social Rooms and the Buffet entrances shall be locked at 3:00 pm, (unless posted otherwise) with all present to receive one (1) hour of free refreshments and the premises to be vacated no later than 4:30 pm, and remain closed until regular time on December 26th.
Rule #2
Profane, vile and/or Boisterous Language, Intoxication, Intentional damaging of Aerie property, possession, handling, distribution and/or use of an illegal substance, and the libeling any employee, officer, or member will not be tolerated. Anyone in violation shall be charged with "CONDUCT UNBECOMING AN EAGLE", and upon conviction may be suspended of all activities in the Social Rooms and/or Buffet Room for a period not to exceed One (1) Year.
Rule #3
Any member, male or female, may bring (3) three guests at a time, who are male or female. AFTER 3RD TIME, GUEST IS EXPECTED TO JOIN AS A MEMBER! Member is completely responsible for the conduct and activities of the guest. The guest must leave the premises with the member and is not allowed to make any alcohol purchases. No member or guest will be allowed within the Aerie wearing inappropriate clothing. Footwear is also required. Guests living within a (25) twenty-five mile radius of the club are allowed to visit (3) three times total. Guests living outside the (25) twenty-five mile radius will have no visitation restrictions.
FORMER MEMBERS ARE NOT CONSIDERED GUESTS AND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ADMITTANCE!
Rule #4
A member's family may visit the Aerie at such times not Prohibited by Federal, State, Local or Aerie laws, rules or regulations. Children must be accompanied by a member of the Aerie or Auxiliary and must remain under the control of the member and not allowed to roam around the Aerie rooms. Must be 21 to enter the Game Room, and member will be responsible for any and/or all damage incurred while using the Game Room. Children (20) twenty years of age and under are not allowed to sit at the bar at any time. Children (20) twenty years of age and under must vacate the Social rooms and/or Aerie quarters no later than 10:00 pm daily except on band nights, they must vacate the premises by 8:30 PM.
Rule #5
Pool tables shall be relinquished to leagues on match days One (1) hour prior to designated match time. League Members will have a preference on use of tables. This rule shall be observed on any tournament or special event.
Rule #6
Any member delinquent in his/her dues will lose all Buffet and/or Social Room privileges until dues are paid in advance.
Rule #7
Any property belonging to the Aerie shall not be taken therefrom without consent of the majority of the Trustees. Such property shall be listed in writing with a specified date of return, signed by the borrower and handed to the House Manager. All property within the Aerie shall be kept in a clean, attractive, and sanitary condition under the direction of the manager with the aid of all members by returning any and all properties to their respective places. Anyone dropping or throwing cigarettes, cigars, pipe tobacco, etc. intentionally on the floor will automatically be given a thirty (30) days suspension by the Board of Trustees.
Rule #8
No refreshments shall be sold or served except upon payment in cash. Refreshments may be served anywhere within the confines of the building and within the real estate boundaries as per (Pa. LCB) permit.
Rule #9
Wednesday Night Drawing will be held between 7:30 pm and 9:00 pm. The drawing will be at the discretion of the Wednesday Night Drawing Committee.
Rule #10
Personal checks will only be accepted for payment of dues.
